In partnership with “Rise Against Hunger NPO” and “Love Story NPC”, Isuzu Motors SA continued on their tradition this year of making a meaningful difference in communities. Isuzu staff members joined forces to pack and deliver 400 buckets filled (with essential grocery items) to communities in need. The bulk groceries were procured through “Feed the Nation Foundation PBO”, which contributed R50 000 towards the food hampers.
One of the recipients of these buckets was Sunshine Daycare, an Early Childhood Development Centre in Diepsloot. Ms. Sylvia Khalushi, who is the Assistant Principal, had this to say: “On behalf of Sunshine Daycare and the Diepsloot community, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Isuzu Motors South Africa. Your generous support has made a significant difference, ensuring that the children have food on the table during the December holidays when the school is closed. We deeply appreciate your efforts and the vital role you played in bringing hope to our community,”
For Isuzu South Africa, the “ISUZU CARES: I CARE TOO” staff volunteerism drive is a platform to live out the company’s values through hands-on action. From packing to delivering the buckets, their efforts demonstrate the profound impact that collective kindness can achieve.
