Isuzu introduces an LS-line to their range of D-Max Single Cab models

Dear bakkie enthusiasts, are you ready for a new type of single cab? Isuzu has recently unveiled their new range of single cab LS models, with more features, more tech and more power.

While the reliable and hard-wearing L models have served their owners well, Isuzu saw a gap in the market for a more upmarket offering which offers additional comfort, convenience and styling.

LS model will come standard with cruise control and a 7-inch infotainment screen which incorporates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Standard safety features in the LS includes: ABS brakes; stability control; hill start assist; hill descent control; trailer sway control; and dual front airbags.

As with the L models, the 1.9 Ddi LS can be specified in High Rider 4x2 guise with the choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions, or a 4x4 model with the six-speed automatic. The 1.9 Ddi four-cylinder turbodiesel engine produces 110kW of power and 350Nm of torque.

The 3.0 Ddi LS single cab — also available in 4x2 or 4x4, both of which are mated to the six-speed automatic transmission — delivers 140kW and 450Nm.
